How to Use the Shopping Cart
(how to place items in cart, view cart, and finish your order)

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart:
To add an item to your shopping cart, look for the white field (located on each product page) like this. Insert the quantity of the item you want in the field and click on the "Add to your Shopping Cart" Button (pictured below).

Viewing the Items in Your Cart:
To View what you have added to your shopping cart, click on the "View Your Shopping Cart" Button (pictured below).

How to Finish your Order:
After you're done adding items and would like to finish your order, click on the "Go To Checkout Now" Button (pictured below).

From the Checkout Menu, you can either order through Secure E-mail On-line, by fax or by postal mail.

To Order On-Line with your Credit Card: Click the 'Order By Credit Card Online' button, proceed to fill out the billing information and then submit it.

To Order by Fax: Click on the 'Order by Credit Card through Fax' button, fill out all neccesary information, and then submit it. This will also return a clean, printable form containing your order and information. Print the form out and fax it to this number: 302-227-8478

To Order by Postal Mail: Click on either the 'Order by Check through Postal Mail' or 'Order by Credit Card through Postal Mail' button, fill out all necessary information, and then submit it. This will also return a clean, printable form containing your order and information. Print the form out and mail it to:

HOW TO ORDER: Our secure shopping is easy from the Sea Shell Shop. There is no filling out a registration form or software to download when shopping on our site. You can feel confident when you are placing an order, that your credit card information is completely protected by our secure server and our qualified staff.

For every in-stock item, next to it will be a quantity box with a zero (0) inside and an 'Add to Shopping Cart' button on the page. To add the item to your shopping cart, change the 0 to a 1 in the quantity box and click the 'Add to Shopping Cart' button. Putting items in your shopping cart does not commit you to buying them. After you put items in your shopping cart, you can choose to place the order immediately, or continue your secure shopping. You can put as many items as you would like in your shopping cart. When you're finished and ready to place your order, you can get back to your shopping cart anytime by clicking onthe 'View Shopping Cart' button.

We are available to take your calls 10AM - 6PM EST Mondays through Saturdays, and most Sundays. At other times, you may leave your order on the internet or fax us. When you place an order, please make sure to provide us with a full street address. If you prefer, your order can be faxed to us at (302) 227-8478. Please include all product, address, shipping and credit card information.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We only accept Credit Cards or International Money Orders. Shipping charges for outside of Continental US will vary. You may call for exact shipping cost or details about International Money Orders. We ask for a faxed copy of your credit card and signature for security.

Heavier items may incur an additional shipping charge.

SALES, EXCHANGES & RETURNS:
SALES and RETURN POLICY: In-stock items are shipped promptly upon payment. We ship the best quality shells and merchandise available. We hope that you are satisfied and delighted with your purchases from us, however if there is a problem we will gladly authorize a return for a refund or exchange within 30 days following receipt of the item by you (except for personalized items, lamps and furniture). Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless it is our error. Returns must be made in the original condition, in the item's original packaging and insured. For returned items, due to your choice, there is a 15% restocking fee. To supervise proper handling of exchanges or credits, please contact us so we may be aware of the return before it is sent back (lamps and furniture are not returnable).

SPECIAL NOTE ON GOODS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT: Be sure to inspect your shipment when it arrives. If the product is damaged during shipment, please contact us IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hrs), as the shipper, we have only a limited time to make a claim with the Delivery Company. A credit or replacement shipment will be sent to you as soon as you notify us of any damages, or we receive your returned goods.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Our inventory system at the present time is not fully automated. A product you order on-line may be out of stock or on back order. If that happens we will notify you by E-mail. Most of our U.S. customers will receive their order within 14 business days. If we or our suppliers are out of stock of an item and we can not ship within 14 days, we will notify you. You may inquire about your order status by sending an E-mail. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer and may take four to twelve weeks for delivery. In this case, you will receive an order confirmation. Also, not all of our merchandise is shown on-line. If you don't see what you want, please call to see if we have it.

SHIPPING: We will ship your order the least expensive way, either USPS or UPS. Shipping charges depend on the weight of your package and the distance it has to travel. Shipping prices shown are approximate. If you are ordering heavy or oversized items, shipping will be more than shown. UPS will NOT accept PO Box delivery. We ship USPS to PO Box holders.

UPS SHIPPING RULES
UPS Does NOT deliver on Saturday unless you pay an extra charge for Saturday delivery.
UPS 2nd Day means it will arrive on the third business day (they do not count Sat. or Sun. as a day). They do not count the pick up day as a day. When you place an order you have to allow us 24 hours to pack the order. If your order arrives early AM we will TRY to ship it out the same day. If you need it by a certain time and you question delivery you will need to call the store so we can accommodate you with a timely delivery. If you product arrives timely according to UPS schedule rules and you refuse the box you will be charge for all shipping. We will credit your account for the product when it is returned.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S. It is available for an additional fee. Some products are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer, and may take up to four to twelve weeks for delivery. In this case, you will receive an order confirmation.

CREDIT CARDS AND OUR POLICY: We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER. The charge on your card will appear under the name: Sea Shell Shop. Due to increased credit card security requirements and procedures, the billing address you provide us must match the one in which your credit card statement is mailed. We reserve the right to have you fax us photocopies of both the credit card and a signature, or other government identification with photographs, for security purposes. Please include a daytime telephone number and a shipping address available during the day, as we require a signature for most deliveries.

Please Note: Our LAMPS and FURNITURE require special packaging, and may not be returned.

GALILEO THERMOMETERS:
Galileo Thermometers being shipped by plane 2nd day air have an extra shipping charge for hazardous materials. No extra charge for ground UPS regular delivery.
