The Shell Express Newsletter is created by the Sea Shell Shop and sent to persons who joined and are interested in stories, history and general information about nautical gifts, lighthouses, shells and hermit crabs. It provides interesting information about related subjects and possible links to other interesting sites full of similar information.

It also provides updates on what is available on the Sea Shell Shop site.

1) OUR NEWS LETTER WAS DELAYED OOPS

We have changed web masters and new host companies. It was a difficult process to get everything in line from the old company. There were a lot of corrections. We finally did it and we are very happy with our new service and web master. We are working on a new look so I have been remiss in getting new information on our site. With summer here and our retail business booming, time is a difficult thing to find. Please stay with us, as I do not use the news letter as a sales tool or for others ads. It is just for letting you know about new information and products on our site. I sure would like to hear from you as to what you want and what information you would like to see on the site?

2) NEED YOUR OPINION AND SUGGESTIONS

We have been in retail a long time, since 1953, but e-commerce is new to us. Because we are a fairly new site we need your opinions on how to do better. We need to know what you think. Please tell us the good and the bad you have experienced.
If you have purchase from us, let us know how that worked for you. We need to know to get better. If you had a good experience and wouldn't mind us using you on a new testimonial page please let us know that too. Everything is important to us, especially now when we are trying so hard to do it right. We appreciate you taking the time to give us this feedback. We guarantee we will answer you. 3)New Hermit Crab stories are now posted on our site. We have updated a few things too about hermits. We also did some spelling and grammar corrections done by our old web master. We are still looking for all the mistakes. If you find one please let us know by e mail. shells@delaware.net

We just got in lighthouse bedspread quilts and curtains made of lace. There are several patterns to choose from. It really can add to your nautical room.

Coffee tables made from boats have been all the rage. Our new boat coffee table has moveable oars and looks like a mini of the real thing. This has been a very popular item. We also now have a lighthouse end table, dolphin table and several other new styles shown below.

We now carry gemstone globes made from real gemstones of the world. We found the wholesale distributors to all in the US. The globes are made completely from gems The gemstone globe is an exquisitely crafted work of hand made art. Every country is portrayed in precious and semi precious stones from around the world. Some of the stones used are turquoise, picture jasper, abalone, malachite, jade, emerald, mother of pearl, green agate, tigers eye and lapis for the blue ocean waters. A few other new items include a nautical seaman chess set, rowboat shelves, and Claire Murray hand hooked nautical and shell rugs.
