Built with rare high quality woods. This is a wooden model ship not plastic. Deck details on the Wasa include: Thick striped sails metal chains holding the anchors at each front end of the ship 12 cannons on each side of the ship The Wasa model comes attached to a sturdy wood base To build this ship extensive research was done using various sources such as museums drawings copies of original plans and photos of the actual ship.
