We proudly present the the first globes in the world. The gem stone globe is an exquisitely crafted work of hand made art. Every country is portrayed in precious and semi-precious stones from around the world. Some of the stones used are turquoise, picture jasper, abalone, malachite, jade, emerald, mother-of-pearl, green agate, tigers eye, and many others.
Each stone is carefully cut and polished, then hand inlaid into a lapis colored globe. Globes take up to 1100 man hours to complete.
Using gems reperesntative of the featured countries gives the gem globe it's truly unique appeal. The lines for lattitude and longitude and highlighted with gold inlay using a special technology. Each globe is then encased in a polyurethane protective coating.
The gem globe is enhanced by a polished brass stand and makes a truly unique corporate gift or incentive to be cherished for many years to come.
