The Hampton Nautical Premium Quality 14-inch Nickel Spyglass Telescope is a great gift for a nautical navigator in your family. The spyglass measures 14 inches when its four nickel tubes which are clear coated to protect the nickel from tarnishing are fully extended. The diameter of the objective lens is 30 mm. The spyglass is 5 inches when collapsed and features a stitched leather wrapped handle. This spyglass also comes with a solid nickel cap to protect the lens. This spyglass has a unique feature where you simply rotate the eyepiece to bring the image into clear focus. This 25-power spyglass features the highest quality precision multi-coated optics available. The nickel spyglass produces a clear non-inverted (upright) image. The 14-inch Spy glass is shipped in a beautiful felt-lined nickel-inlaid hardwood case. The box features nickel side inlets on all sides and the nickel Hampton Nautical solid nickel anchor with rope logo on the top of the box. The box is a smooth finished hardwood that has a gloss finish. The box measures 6 inches by 4 inches by 4 inches. The spyglass weighs approximately 2 pounds without the box and the hardwood case weighs less than a pound.
